Yeay. It's summer.

Currently: Star Wars! :jedi: oh ho ho... I just saw the 3rd movie yesterday... and it was good-lump in my throat-good. Dad and I broke out the NES and the old Star Wars games, and we've been eating at Burger King-- a lot. (and still the jawa eludes me)
There's also been quite a bit of geeky quoting going on.
Example1: (while putting away the groceries today)
Dad: You're in my way.
Me: *Jedi-mind-trick-hand-wave* I am not in your way.
Dad: *Jedi-mind-trick-hand-wave* The hell you aren't in my way.
Example2: (in an attempt to make oatmeal cookies without butter)
Mom: They'll never stick together.
Me: They'll hold together. *mutter* Steady baby, hold together.

Also: The Cat Returns! I finally bought it... x_x gawd, the baron is so suave. Here kitty kitty...

And: After three years of holding a driving permit, I finally got behind the wheel today and drove for a good 5 minutes around the development.

no really, if you like Harry Potter, or LotR you should see Star Wars, they're all pretty much the same story. :D

lol yeah..I've got some hardcore star wars friends who are about to tie me up and force me to watch it. I don't think I'll have much of a choice much longer. ^^;

The guy who did the Baron's voice in English was also Westley in the Princess Bride ("As you wish <3") and Tim Curry was the Cat King ("I'm just a sweet transvestite from transexual transylvania!")

Disney is really doing a good job with the Ghibli movies ^.^ Next year I'll bring Whisper of the Heart (semi-prequel to The Cat Returns). I loooooove Whisper of the Heart sosososomuch X3

Anyway... WHEE! Summer! I have tons of anime to watch ~gonk~
